Can I get an Apple Watch instead of the pendant?

FallCall Detect works with our pendant and can be connected to an Apple watch for additional detection. If you’re exploring Apple Watch options, contact support@fallcall.com and we’ll help you choose the best setup.

What is the 6-month plan?

It’s a pre-paid plan for six months of service with the same features as monthly, but with a discount on the services. You’ll receive reminders as your plan nears renewal.

Do I need a smartphone?

Yes. You’ll use the FallCall Detect app (iPhone or Android) to set up the pendant and manage your Care Group.

What happens when someone falls?

If a fall is detected or the Elder presses the button, the app notifies the Care Group and can escalate according to your settings.

When will my FallCall pendant arrive?

Most orders ship within 24–48 hours of purchase. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number from support@fallcall.com once your order is on its way.

Which app do I need to download?

All FallCall plans, monthly and six-month, use the same mobile app: FallCall Detect. You can find it on the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).

Which email address should I use to sign in?

Use the same email you used during checkout when creating or logging into your FallCall Detect account. This keeps your subscription and pendant automatically linked to your profile.

What’s the difference between a Caregiver and a Elder?

Caregiver: The person who provides support, responds to alerts, and monitors safety.

Elder: The person wearing the pendant and being monitored.

Either can create their account first, but the Elder must pair the pendant since it will be worn by them.

Who should set up the app first: the Caregiver or the Elder?

Either can start setup, but it’s easiest if the Elder installs the app first and then invites their Caregiver(s) to join. If a Caregiver sets up first, they can still invite the Elder later.

How many people can be in a FallCall group?

Each Elder can invite up to five Caregivers; however, a Caregiver can only be associated with two Elders. Each invited user that is paired will be notified if a fall is detected or if the Elder doesn’t respond.

How do I invite someone into my FallCall group?
  1. Open the FallCall Detect app.
  2. Under Care Group click on Invite & Info.
  3. Select “Invite To Group”.
  4. Send an invite via text to the person you want to add to the group.
What should I do while waiting for my pendant to arrive?

You can start right away by:

  1. Complete your FallCall Detect account and choose your role.
  2. Inviting others (Caregivers or Elders) to build your care group.
  3. Watching the setup video in your Welcome email to learn how pairing works once your pendant arrives.
How do I pair my pendant once it arrives?

When your pendant is delivered:

  1. Open FallCall Detect and log in.
  2. Go to Accessories → Add FallCall Pendant.
  3. Press the button on your pendant once to begin pairing.
  4. Wait until you see “Connected,” then you’re ready to go!
I’m not sure which version of the app to download: Android or iPhone?

Choose the one that matches your phone:

Can I use an iPhone and have someone in my Care Group use an Android?

Yes. The app is supported on both platforms, and notifications can be sent to either device without issue. FallCall Detect ensures seamless connectivity and communication across all supported devices.

How will I know my setup worked?

Once the app, care group, and pendant are connected, you’ll see a green status indicator on the FallCall Detect screen that says “Active.” for the device.

What if I need help during setup?

You can reach our support team at support@fallcall.com, use the Help / FAQs link inside the app, or give us a call at 1-800-FALLCAL. Our team is available to assist with setup, pairing, and troubleshooting.

Can I switch from Caregiver to Elder within the app?

Not at this time. If you have logged in or registered as one role, you would need to reinstall the app or contact support@fallcall.com to switch your role. This is due to how we manage monitoring and resources for each user.
